Volvo’s upcoming smartphone Vivo Nex 5 may feature an Under-Display Selfie camera and could be released in the second half of 2021, claims tipsters. The Vivo Nex 5 also tipped to have a quad-curve display.
According to a Weibo post by a tipster known as Electrical, Kurologist spotted Vivo Nex 5 may have a 6.78-inch quad-curve display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone is expected to have a 32-megapixels under-Display Selfie camera.
The smartphone is said to have a GN2 1/1.12-inch 50-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilisation. The phone is also supposed to have an ultra-wide camera with an undisclosed 50-megapixel sensor.
The phone will have a 4,500mAh battery with 66W wired and 40W wireless charging. However, Another tipster, Bald Panda has a piece of different information. Bald Panda claimed in a Weibo post that the Vivo Nex 5 will have 120W wired and 60W wireless fast charging.
The phone will be an IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. Vivo has yet to make an announcement about the rumoured handset.
Vivo showed off the Vivo APEX 2020 concept phone last year, which featured an under-display selfie camera and a waterfall display. Vivo later released the Vivo NEX 3S 5G, which had the waterfall display but not the under-display camera. Vivo launched it with a pop-up camera.
