Samsung has launched its new smartphone Samsung Galaxy M42 5G in India. The company is calling it the cheapest 5G smartphone in India. The price of this phone starts at Rs 21,999. However, the introductory price is Rs 19,999.
The price of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variants is Rs 21,999, while 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variants will be available for Rs 23,999. The company has said that it can be purchased at an introductory price of Rs 19999.
As an offer, you can buy its top variants for Rs 21,999. The sale of this smartphone will start in May and it can be purchased from Amazon India and select retail stores including the Samsung website. This smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery and a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
Talking about the specifications of the Galaxy M42 5G, it has a 6.6-inch HD Plus Super AMOLED display. This smartphone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 760G chipset. The phone has quad rear cameras. There is a 48-megapixel primary lens, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 5-megapixel depth sensor and 5-megapixel macro lens.
This smartphone has a 20-megapixel front camera for selfie. The Galaxy M42 5G has a 5,000mAh battery with a 15W fast charging. This phone comes with Android 11 based One UI 3.1. The phone also has NFC support through which contactless digital payments can be made.
