You can Now enjoy Pac-Man, Hello Kitty and other characters in Google Search AR. These famous Japanese characters are now available in Google Search AR. These characters can be seen as users check for their names in the Google app on Android and iOS devices.

In a blog post, Google announced the list of characters that will be available in Google AR via Google’s app in a blog post. Commun, Evangelion (EVA-01 Test Type), Gomora, Gundam (Odysseus Gundam, Xi Gundam, Penelope), Kogi-min the Taiko Master are on the list.

You can also find Little Twin Stars, Pac-Man, Pompompurin, the Taiko no Tatsujin drums, Ultraman, Ultraman Belial, and Ultraman Zero in Google search AR. Google also stated that Pac-Man was the most searched character, and Peru was the country with the highest number of searches for the dot-gobbler.

The characters can be seen at different scales, including life-size. Users can also render them in their home environment using Google’s AR technology and the camera view on their smartphone.

As per Google, Pac-Man is the most searched character on Google. Hello, Kitty character is number two on this list.

Google Photos Android app gets enhanced video editing tools

To interact with these characters, Android users must search for them using the Google App or any browser and then tap View in 3D. Only smartphones running Android 7 or higher will be able to display 3D images.

The ARCore-enabled device is a must view these characters in AR (Augmented  Reality). To view 3D and AR content on iPhone and iOS, users must have iOS 11 or higher.
