Jio 5G network to launch in the second half of 2021 in India

Reliance Jio will launch 5G service in the second half of 2021 in India. Chairman of Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani made a big announcement in India Mobile Congress (IMC2020) about Jio 5G Service.

Mukesh Ambani said , ‘I promise you that Jio will bring 5G revolution in India in the second half of 2021. It will be based on network, hardware and technology components made in India ‘

Mukesh Ambani urged government has to take policy steps to launch 5G quickly in India. Ambani said that there are still 300 million mobile users in India using 2G. He also said that these users will have to shift to affordable smartphones.

According to Mukesh Ambani, India is one of the best digitally connected countries in the world. In such a situation, to maintain the lead, work will be done on the policy steps of bringing 5G soon.

He also spoke about the achievements of Reliance Jio during this speech. He said that there are 20 startup partners who work in the fields of World Class Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Financial Services and New Commerce.

India has made world class strength in chip design. ‘I see India becoming the hub of the state of the art semiconductor industry’ said mukesh Ambani.
