Instagram has announced a new feature in its bio section that will allow users to add pronouns to their profile. The new feature currently made available in some countries.

Users will be able to save space in their bio write-up that they would have otherwise provided to defining their pronoun, thanks to the new field. The pronoun will appear in the Instagram profile next to a user’s name.

When you start typing a pronoun, a list of matches appears underneath it, and you must choose from this list. So you will not be able to type any text into the box, but will instead have to choose from a chart.

Users can add up to four pronouns and choose whether to share them with ‘followers only.’ It means users also have a privacy option if they don’t want this information made public.

The new feature is already available in some countries and will be rolled out in regions in the coming days. Update your app and check to see if it has arrived.
