The maximum volume of the ringtone or various other notification sounds on your smartphone may be too low, especially if you have hearing problems or if you work in a particularly noisy environment.
Sometimes it is not enough to increase sound volume to the maximum level from the appropriate menu (or with the buttons on the side), but there are easy methods that can come to the rescue on both Android and iPhone.
Regular cleaning of the receiver and system speakers helps to improve the sound performance. You can use brushes with not too hard bristles, small pieces of adhesive tape or cotton buds. If you are using a blower it is best to set it to moderately low intensity.
How to increase the volume beyond the maximum on Android phones
The first step is to check if you have actually increased the volume of the system sounds and the ringer to the maximum since many models associate the rocker keys only with the sound of multimedia contents.
The path to take is Settings> Sounds and vibration. A page will open with various fields with adjustable intensity.
The second step is to boost the sounds through the equalizer. Many models are already equipped, for example, the various Samsung or Huawei Phones.
The path to follow is identical to the previous one, only to then select Sound quality and effects or, for compatible models, Dolby Atmos. On the next page, you can choose richer decibel values or move the various settings to maximum manually.
If you don’t have an equalizer included, you can download an app from Google app store. Once downloaded.
How to increase the volume beyond the maximum on iPhone
On iPhone, you can control the volume in the Ring and Alerts bar heading to Settings> Sounds and Haptic Feedback menu.
You also can do this by heading to Settings> Music. The recommended is found by scrolling down. It is worth checking the “volume limit” to change its default value.
