The Google Photos Android app gets enhanced video editing tools. This tool previously available only to iOS devices.
The tools seem to have arrived in a server-side update, but if they are not yet available in your app, you can try upgrading to the most recent version of Google Photos.
The new editing tool is made available for Google Pixel devices and other Android phones.
Google described in February that the latest video editing tools over 30 controls.
The controls including cropping, filters, colour grading choices, changing contrast, saturation, and brightness etc.
The new editing tools are coming to Android at a time when Google’s Photos service is undergoing major changes.
Google has said that it would introduce some machine-learning enabled editing tool. The tools were previously exclusive to Pixel devices and other Android phone users who had Google One subscribers.
It is worth mentioning that from June 2021, Google Photos will discontinue its unlimited free photo storage. Users will require to pay for additional storage above the free limit of 15GB.
