Apple is expected to unveil the AirPods 3 and Apple Music HiFi music on May 18. Apple will not have a separate event for these two items but will announce them through a press release on the website.

This information was provided exclusively to AppleTrack by YouTuber Luke Miani. Luke told that the third-generation AirPods will be launched on May 18 along with the Apple Music HiFi.

According to AppleTrack, the updated AirPods will be released in the “coming weeks” based on input from other sources. Apple generally announces a new product on Tuesdays.

so the May 18 date sounds plausible, however, there is no other proof to back up these reports. Apple earlier used a similar approach with the debut of AirPods Pro in 2019, issuing a press release rather than hosting an event. It is believed that Apple may do the same with the next AirPods.

According to a recent report, new AirPods and an Apple Music HiFI music tier are apparently on the way. The upcoming AirPods, which could be dubbed the AirPods 3 or AirPods (2021), are said to look similar to the AirPods Pro and contain the same system-in-package (SiP).

The updated AirPods are also expected to include improved noise cancellation and advanced Siri integration. Apple Music HiFi, on the other hand, will offer Dolby Atmos, Dolby Audio, and ‘lossless’ audio.
