American tech giant Apple may launch AirPods 3 alongside iPhone 13 series in its September 2021 virtual event.
Bloomberg editor Mark Gurman stated in his latest newsletter that Apple’s September event will be held online only.
This decision is likely to be directly related to the rising numbers of COVID cases in the USA, which has already ensured that Apple’s employees do not have to return to their offices in September, but in October at the earliest.
In addition, the leaker @dylandkt stated on Twitter that not only the iPhone 13 series will be officially presented at this event, but also the AirPods 3. While the leaker does not provide any new information about the third generation AirPods. As per Past rumours, the upcoming AirPods 3 will largely adopt the design of the AirPods Pro.
Based on information from sources familiar with Apple’s plans, DigiTimes says it is likely that Apple will showcase both the iPhone 13 and AirPods 3 at an event in September.
Most of the rumours we’ve heard so far point to the AirPods 3 launching in the second half of 2021, so September seems like a good bet at this point. In the past, however, Apple has already carried out hardware launches in October and November.
