Apple Fitness Plus service gets a slew of new workouts customised for pregnant, beginners and elderly people.
Apple Fitness Plus is also releasing a new “Time to Walk” chapter, which features Jane Fonda and is themed around Earth Day.
On April 19th, Apple Fitness Plus will receive the newly added Workouts for Pregnancy, Workouts for Older Adults, and Workouts for Beginners, as well as the latest Jane Fonda Time to Walk episode.
There are ten workouts in the new “Workouts for Pregnancy” which range Apple’s strength, core, and mindful cooldown categories.
Each workout lasts about 10 minutes and is tailored for pregnant. Apple Fitness Plus modify the workouts as the pregnancy progresses. It also changes workouts and gives suggestions.
There are eight exercises in “Workouts for Older Adults.”
The workouts are typically designed to use light dumbbells or the user’s own body weight, with variations to include the use of chairs or walls as required.
Apple is also introducing new low-impact yoga, HIIT, and strength classes for beginners who are new to working out or returning after a long break.
